Oh boy, it's been a while!

Where is all the time just going? It's been a while since last update to this blog, so here it goes.

So life is pretty much on the same routine as always, we haven't been much in shows this year but focused on other things. Maybe this fall we'll pop by in one or two shows just for fun!

Our dear A-A (NW15 SC Blackrock Via Nocturna, JW, DSM) was neutered some time ago. After five years as a full male and siring wonderful offspring we decided it was time to let him start enjoying the neuter club. He'll be restarting his shows now as a neuter.
In September you can meet me in Wroclaw and Warsaw shows where I will be officiating as a student judge for categories 3 and 4.  So just come and say hi!

Ragnarok - SIA b 03

Ratatoskr - OSH b

We got two kittens also at home, Ragnarok and Ratatoskr. Both of the little vikings are searching for their loving pet homes and are ready to leave end of September.

What else, we also got few adults searching for homes, so if you are interested of older cat, take a look at our website.

And about website, finally after a long time I am again updating it. There are still things missing, but feel free to surf around.

Also we have kitten plans for this fall. Our dear queen Lady will be mated with our gorgeous siamese male Priam. This will be the last litter for Lady, so for those interested of getting one of her babies, please do not hesitate to contact us. After babies Lady will be neutered and will move to her well deserved retirement to Finland to live with my mother as a spoiled (rotten) pet.

So this is the short update for the year. I promise to shape up and keep updating this blog and our website now more frequently!

Some news from the weekend

On Saturday evening two gorgeous girls moved to our home from Finland. I proudly welcome FI*Acousticat's Fire in Cairo (SIA q 03) and FI*Acousticat's FridayImInLove (BAL q). These two ladies are going to be part of our longhair breeding program and we are hoping that in few months there will be some kitten news coming.
I would like to give great thanks for the breeder and previous owner of the girls, Katariina Tirkkonen, for entrusting the ladies to us as well as big thanks for our friends Henna and Terhi for taking care of the girls until they were ready to move.
Couple pics below, better pics will be coming soon :)

On Saturday also Kiran Kirous (OSH h 24) and Kiran Kohtalo (OSH c 25) moved back to us from their surrogate family where they were growing with other litter. Was so nice to get the babies back and huge thanks for Marzena for caring for them. They were nice and fat little babies. Kiran Kohtalo (OSH c 25 male) is looking now for his loving pet home.

Kiran Kirous - OSH h 24 - RESERVED for breeding

Kiran Kohtalo - OSH c 25 male - AVAILABLE

And so that news wont end... On Sunday five of our kittens left to their new forever homes. I am so happy to be blessed with so nice homes for our babies, and this made the farewells bit easier (even tho tears are always shed). Good luck babies in your new homes and I know you will conquer the hearts of everyone you ever meet!

2017 - interesting year ahead

This year is going to be very interesting, at least if some of the plans will hold and come reality.

Our show year begins 21st of January here in Warsaw, when I-litter kittens will be presented first time. They are growing very promisingly. Ixtlilton will move to Finland and Itzpzpalotl will stay here at home with us.
Itztlacoliuhqui is still looking for his loving pet home.

Itztlacoliuhqui

J-litter kittens will enter the show ring at end of February. I have very high hopes for this litter :) Alli-Elina (Jewels n'Drugs) will stay in future breeding program and move to Finland to wait coming of age.

We got some interesting litters planned for this year. First of all Gehennas (Anneli) - SIA g - will be mated. She is daughter of our Lady and Miziu.
Lady and Siru are also planned to be mated with our Forcas.
So looking forward for the upcoming litters. You can find more information about them from here.

There are also some bigger surprises coming for later this year, but more about those when they actually come to reality. But for now, it really looks to be exciting year ahead of us!

Boys got a new room!

Finally the renovation is done in our male room, so our active males (and their lovely brides) have a private suite where they can be pampered and no need to worry about accidental mating or spraying all around the apartment. Our males do not spend much time in the room, as they are most importantly, our loved pets.
This room will also be working in future as a nursery for kittens :)

Available kittens and plans for the near future

Currently we have four kittens still available and looking for their loving homes. More about them you can find from here.

The plans for the end of the year involve a lot of catshows. CorwaElucca alias MiniMjaa and Blackrock alias A-A are going to be present in every catshow in Poland until end of the year. Also we are considering making a trip to Czech Republic to finalize Warre's IP title.
Lilith gained her maximum points for NW-title that a housecat can get, so she is enjoying a break until next year. Later on we will know if her points were enough to receive this title.

There are also some kittenplans...
Lady will be mated with Miziu. After this litter Lady goes for a longer break to live in a peaceful household so she does not need to get all cranked up with our other ladies. Tortie is a tortie! (and she is a gorgeous one!).
Kira will have hopefully her final litter with Miziu as well. We are hoping for few more excellent kittens out from her.
Our Finnish import Siru (Wildhawk's Bena) will also have a hot date with Miziu and we are hoping it to end up to some gorgeous greeneyed babies.
If everything goes well, by Christmas our Mimiron will donate his balls to the charity and begin enjoying life as a neuter. He is available for one or two outside matings before that.
You can see more about him from here.

So that's all that is planned for this year. Nothing is set yet into stone, besides Mimirons ball donation. What a Christmas gift for our guy!

Epic Choco Via Nocturna - OSH b 03 24 male - Available

Some updates...

Life has kept us all very busy lately, but we are still around!

Some small updates from the horde...

All three cat overlords from Space (from left Nano, at middle Agares and at right Her Highness) are doing well. Lilith is preparing for another run in the catshows and will continue her showlife for the time being.

We are the Borg... Resistance is futile

Our "baby" A-A alias Blackrock Via Nocturna is not a baby anymore. He thinks he is all man already and is extremely interested of our girls. He has his bride waiting, and is possibly available for one more outside mating before he will be put under implant for the time being.

He is handsome and has very nice green eyes and good body proportions. He will be in couple more shows before entering the open class.

And the ladies...

Kira is resembling a "kapylehma" with her sticky legs and tail and big round belly. She is happily in her blessed stage of life and is due to give birth around 16th of April. Looking forward for that!

The kittens are sired by our lilac siamese male. Inquiries for this litter are welcomed.

Ladul is also pregnant, week three is going now. Miziu is the happy father of this litter as well.

Hutul and Igu are going to be mated soon as well, so we are going to have a house full of kittens this summer! All litters are expected to be oriental shorthairs, with possibility for siamese and seychellois kittens.

So yes, we are all doing good here and even this blog has been resting a bit due busy life, now we will be catching up. Also her Highness promises to provide you new guides about things for the spring! So stay tuned!

Plans for 2015...

New year, new stuff... and some old...

KITTEN PLANS
(Please note plans are subject of change, and nothing is yet set to stone)

If you are interested of one of the combinations, please do contact us. Email.
I am looking for co-ownership homes for one-two males and females from the upcoming litters.

Ladul, Kaarlo & Blackrock

SHOW PLANS
Yep, shows are also planned for this year.
Our ladies will soon start their maternity leaves, so they will be hatching their babies and not joining the show life. But our males Miziu and Blackrock, and also housecat Lilith will continue in the shows during 2015, and also our little new comer who we are expecting to arrive in middle of April. She is something spotty ;)

Spots, and more spots! (CH Handira Ari-Gan "Kirus")

And about shows... Our main goal is set in September, 2015 in Warsaw, when our club SMK Jedynka will be hosting Category 4 special show. We are hoping for a lot of participation to the show, as there will be two judge students (Marzena Wlodarska and Irek Pruchniak) giving their exam for category four. If you are thinking of a trip abroad, I do warmly welcome you to Warsaw! If you need any help or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me as an example regarding the show. A lot of fun "Category 4" stuff is planned - not to forget our special dinner that will be held most likely on Saturday evening in a nice restaurant and very good atmosphere!

LILITH THE MIGHTY MINIKITTEN
Oh I would feel bad for forgetting to mention Her Highness... Yes, she will be going to shows all this year. And if we can arrange transportation for her, maybe you'll see her in the World Winner show in Malmo! Last year she gained 13x BIS out of 16 shows she participated in. This year has began with 2x BIS results and hopefully a lot more to come!
Also, as last year was busy for me to work as her Highness's secretary, we are picking up the speed and you can expect a lot of new guides. And as a new thing... Her Highness has willingly placed herself as an test animal (we are against testing anything on animals, this was HER choice!) to test different foods, toys and beds designed for the cats. If you have any suggestions on what she should test, please let us know and we'll get to it! Honest and described details of the tested stuff will be posted.

Yeeeesh, its me again!

So thats it, the plans for 2015. Year has just began, so we got plenty to work for, and plans are always subject to change. If you want to know more, have ideas for Lilith or are interested of a kitten, please drop us an email.

Year 2014

Finally finding a moment to recap our year 2014...

From shows, it was quite a nice year.
NW'14 GIC Mazzystar Catmania*PL, JW - our dear Miziu Miziu gained 11x BIS results and was the best adult male in category 4 in Poland... and achieved his first NW title.
Asnee Via Nocturna*PL, JW - was the third best youngster/kitten in Poland for 2014.
and our housecat Lilith - 11th best showcat in whole Poland (almost 2400 cats in total!). Best Housecat of 2014. 13x BIS out of 16 shows!
Huttul (Konigsegg Van Crystaltina) and Ladul (Lady withred Van Crystaltina) both gained their CH titles during the year.
Blackrock Via Nocturna*PL - got 2x BIS results from kitten class.
IC Rimppakintun Aamuvarhain - received his PR title this year.

Our second litter was born also during 2014. Sire was our (now castrated) IC & PR Rimppakintun Aamuvarhain and dam was Lady. Five kittens were born, from which we lost one (Banshee) at young age. Banshee had some severe changes in his brain that ended up him having seizures and loss of appetite. I still remember like yesterday, the morning when I found him cold and stiff on the floor, sleeping in his vomit and pee. By a miracle, and I mean miracle, he pushed through it and when it looked like all was going better, he began having seizures and his condition crashed down on one evening. On the next day while he was at vet, under anesthetics, sleeping and resting after serious seizures... he just slept away without any pains. RIP Banshee.
Every time a little kitten angel walks to the rainbow bridge, a part of me goes with it. I so wanted to give this baby as well happiness of playing, growing and life. Some babies are just too beautiful for this world.
Rest four kittens grew up well and are now living in their new homes, besides Blackrock alias A-A, who is staying at our home and we hope him to become a part of our longhair breeding program. Now we just wait to get the female!

A new member joined also our family during 2014 - my longtime dream... white odd-eyed oriental Igu Igu. Thanks Asia for letting this jewel to come to live with us.
It was not easy year for Igu, as she had a severe pyometra and we kept fighting to get it cured. And looks like it worked, as on 18th of December Igu was mated with Miziu and looks like the buns in the oven are cooking well ;)

So that is year 2014 in short for our cattery...

Now it is time to move towards 2015... more about our plans for 2015 coming tomorrow!

Some new pictures of the cats and news from the cattery

Finally some new pictures of the horde. More to come, as the weekend is near and we'll have a moment to breath and take the camera out.

Luna (Apsara Via Nocturna) is living in Finland already in her new home and is doing well. Her sister, Achara will be going to her new home in matter of few weeks. We are waiting for the 21days to go by from her rabies vaccination and also to get her sterilized. She will be moving to live in Finland as well as a pet, but we hope to see her in a show or two in the future as well :)

We still have one siamese boy (Anurak Via Nocturna) available and looking for his new humanslaves to pamper him.
