2015 catshow statistic - The most popular...

To this post I have gathered information about what were the most popular breeds, colors etc. for year 2015 in Polish cat shows. As before, the data is gathered from catshow.eu website and may contain human errors.

Lets get started!

During 2015 more females (58%) were signed than males.

Most cats were signed to "old" categories 2 & 3.

The same trend stays even when the cats are split per their new categories (which came in effect 2016).

The most popular breeds in shows were as follows:

The list almost corresponds to the most popular breeds registered during 2015.
1. MCO
2. BSH
3. RAG
4. DRX
5. SIB
6. RUS
7. NEM
8. SPH
9. NFO
10. BEN

During 2015 the most popular colors were n (black) and a (blue).

Most of the presented cats did not have any white.

Most popular tabby marking was 22 (classical) followed by 24 (spotted). Still, tabby cats only totaled 39% of all entries.

As the trend goes, most popular show classes were 9 (open), 12 (kitten) and 11 (junior).

Most BIS results were given to the breeds as follows.
And the following breeds were the most nominated.

Maine coons and British shorthairs had the most BIVs given during 2015.

The list below shows the most popular judges evaluating cats during 2015 where the number one seat goes to Mr. Irek Pruchniak.

The invited judges were from the following countries (only showing the most popular ones).

There was in total only a slight difference between entering cats to either Saturday or Sunday.
And last, the entries per show organizing club.
