Guide to anatomy of a cat

Every cat has the same parts (more or less) and now I am going to give you an lesson about anatomy of a cat. My brave assistants, Mr. Elb, Agares and NanoSurgat have been helping me with this by revealing their bodyparts for you to see. As you all know, we cat are not all the same, so some differences in colors, shapes and sizes come, when we are talking about bodyparts.
Lets start from the head.
Head is a very important part of a cat. Most importantly, in some scenarios it also includes our brains. Even tho our human slaves often say we dont have them... but trust me, we do. We just do not like to show off our intelligence and make you feel bad because of our superior brainwork.
EARS
Ears are working as efficient antennas, catching the sound of opening food can and passing it to our stomach to note about incoming dinnertime.
EYES
We cats have a good eyesight, so there is no way of hiding from us. Our eyes see, when you have prepared your steak and placed it on your table.
MOUTH
Equipped with sharp teeth and tongue, our mouth is a true weapon. We can catch our pray between our sharp teeth and killshake it to death. Regardless if the pray is a mouse or your toe, the results are the same.
With our tongue we keep ourselves clean, and occasionally as well make sure you enjoy our bathing rituals and wash your hair with our delicate tongue.
Also, mouth is the place where food should be inserted. Remember this my dear human slave.
Our mouth also serves as a communication tool with random "meow" "hrrrl" and such sounds. Usually it is not hard to miss us talking to you about our wishes and commands.
WHISKERS
Our whiskers work with our ears to scan things from our surroundings. Whiskers come in variety of colors and lenghts, but their meaning stays the same. They also serve well during the early morning hours when we want to wake you up gently... we can then come to lay next to you and tickle your face with them.
NECK
Neck attaches our head (with brains) to our body and is an important part of us. For some reason some human slaves to prefer use our necks as "decorative" items and place stupid and ugly collars around it... Unforgivable !
BODY
comes in various sizes and shapes. Also can be modified to different positions, like compressed edition in the picture below. Our bodies are perfectly build for action and movement. Tho some cats have exercised too well at the foodbowl and their bodies have grown a lot in size, especially around the area of belly. Sometimes we lay on our backs and reveal our bellies. This is an open invitation for you - humanslave - to start rubbing our bellies.
LEGS
Our legs move us from place A to B. I think there is not much more needed to say about our legs, as many of you humanslaves have learned how fast we can run with our legs,or on how high places we've been able to climb.
PAWS
Paws are versatile tools. From digging dirt from our flowerfriends to help us climb to the ceiling using your curtains.
CLAWS
These sharp needles attached to our soft paws make them killerweapons. But they are not only weapons, but also can be used for redecorating your apartment... snowflakes come beautifully out from toiletpaper with efficient shredding, or your curtains might turn into lace with our claw work.
TAIL
This device works to balance us when we move around. It also can show you how we feel. Thats why I like to call it as a "telltale tail". Also, during extensive catnip sessions, the tail often appears as a scary anaconda stuck on our behinds... while we bravely fight against it to kill it, we often realize it is a mission impossible.

COAT and COLOR
Our coat appears in various colors... from black to white. It also comes in various lenghts and there are even cats that dont have a coat! Naked ones.
The purpose of color is to serve as a camoflauge to hide us from our pray and make us disappear to the shadows in your apartment, when you are trying to find us.

Ha! The cat-on-top-of-door picture proves that cats are devilish indeed. See how the tail disappears where it touches the cross on the wall.
