2016 Statistics - Birmans

Below you can find the statistics for breed "Birman". As earlier, the data has been gathered from catshow.eu website and due human errors there might be mistakes.

During 2016 there were 85 birmans in the show (amount of entries, not individual cats). This means that 0,93% of the cats signed for shows were birmans (7% of category 1 cats.

For the sex, 56% of the birmans signed were male and no litters were presented during 2016. There were 10% more males signed than in all breed average.

Black and blue were the most popular colors in the show.


As with other breeds, classes 9, 11 and 12 were the most popular. 22% of the cats signed (above age of 10 months) were neuters.
The following graph presents results given for birmans in shows during 2016. 8,2% of all signed birmans were absent on the showday. Only 2 BIV's were given, both of them in Wroclaw show (October). About half of the cats nominated gained BIS.

20% of the birmans were evaluated by one of the top three judges (who had the most birmans signed).

38,8% of birmans were evaluated either by Italian, French or German judge.
