2016 Statistics - Ragdolls

Below you can find the statistics for breed "Ragdoll". As earlier, the data has been gathered from catshow.eu website and due human errors there might be mistakes.

During 2016 there were 884 ragdolls in the show (amount of entries, not individual cats). This means that 10.5% of the cats signed for shows were persians (73% of category 1 cats were persians). This makes in average 10 cats per a show day.

For the sex, 52% of the ragdolls signed were female and 17 litters (2% of entries for ragdolls) were presented during 2016.
The top five colors for ragdolls are listed in the below table. It is easy to see that bicolors are the most popular ones.
In the below table the ragdolls entered to the show are split by class. The same general trend continues, by classes 9, 12 and 11 being the most popular.

The following graph presents results given for ragdolls in shows during 2016. 8,2% of all signed ragdolls were absent on the showday.

38% of ragdolls nominated were Best in Show.

The below table shows that who of the judges evaluated the most ragdolls during 2016. 27% of all ragdolls were evaluated by one of these five judges.

When looking at the country of origin for the judges, most of the ragdolls were evaluated by Polish judges (16,3%). French judges coming as good second with almost 12% and Italians as third with 11%.
