Selling cats in auctions / catshows - Poland edition

Today I am bringing into your attention some very worrying points of selling breed cats here in my home coutry Poland. I have been reading the internet quite a lot and made my studies carefully. Now it is the time for You my dear reader to read my findings.

Here in Poland we have sort of an eBay, an electronic auction house, where people can sell their stuff, new or old. You might already quess where this is leading, but just as a small reminder, below is a small caption of the FIFe breeding and registration rules, that every FIFe breeder signs to follow when getting their cattery name.

" 2.3.2 ...It is also not permitted for members of FIFe member clubs to offer/trade cats or services, such as stud servises, by auction or similar actions either in electronic or actual events."

And off we go to this website. It is called allegro.pl. Just by placing a search for lets say... cats, I can instantly spot multiple FIFe breeders selling their cats there.
British, Coons, Siberian and the new "fashion" breed - Bengals.

Few weeks ago, we spotted a bengal kitten sold from its second home at age of 11 weeks. It was claimed to be registered and from good FIFe breeder, but the new home could not keep it due allergy. FIFe registration and breeding rules say : "2.3.3 Kittens must not go to a new owner (home) before they are 12 weeks old and have been fully vaccinated against Pan-leucopoenia and "cat flu", unless otherwise advised by a veterinarian.". See something wrong in the bengal add ? Yes, I do. 11 weeks old kitten being sold from its second home. It cannot be from a "co-ownership" litter, as then the family would have had the kitten from the beginning with its mommy. So cancels out the allergy. This just means the kitten was sold by a FIFe breeder under the age of 12 weeks.

The situation is alarming, as cats should NOT be sold this way. And the amount of breeders (also from other clubs than FIFe) selling their cats against the rules of their club. What is done to the situation ? Obviously nothing or very little, as same breeders keep selling the cats litter after litter in this website (or another similar sites).

This is not the only thing that has been bothering me lately... Even the catshows are not left without people selling their cats in there. Not been once or twice I've seen money exchanging owners and breeders coming in at morning with multiple kittens and leaving with none. It is different to have a sign up "we have kittens" just as an advert and do the selling elsewhere. But for sure place for the sale is not inside a catshow.

Now, some of you might think... hey what is wrong for buying a cat via "eBay" ? Well, for first, cat is a big investment, and it is something that you will have in your home for even 20 years! It is longer living than a car. Would you buy your car without seeing it first, finding out about its past, faults and qualities that come with its type? No, you would not. You would even require to do a test drive to know how it feels to drive it and find the hidden faults. You would kick the tires, check the engine and often even have someone who knows the cars with you to help to make the decision.
Cats should be the same, and even approached with greater care. They are living animals, not objects. As a buyer you should find out is this breed suitable for you (instead of clicking "buy" just since it looks cute), since if you drive now a small city car, you might not do so well with a huge truck. Cat breeds have big differences !
You would need to know better about the health, pedigree, hereditary diseases that might be in backround... and most importantly... You should NOT support backyard breeding and kittenmills. Places where cute kittenbabies are produced as mass production and not caring that much about the conditions of the living animals.

It is easy to close your eyes and think that something like this is ok. Please do not close your eyes, please pass on the word.
