Ostrava & Zilina catshows

Long weekend behind and 1,300km in car! So what happened ? We went to catshows outside Poland, and this was my first "foreign" trip.

Friday :
Mommy grabbed me to a box and we headed out to meet up with Anna and her ragdoll male Pablo. He is a gorgeous guy, even tho he is loosing some hair right now, and poor Mommy looked like she was wearing a white furcoat in the end! The long drive towards Bielsko-Bialy began, where we had our hotel booked. Unfortunately we had Ms. MeowsAlot in car too (she was going to meet her boyfriend) and kept meowing until we gave her to new humanslaves on a gasstation. Then we continued our drive to south. Finally at evening we got into hotel, and phew I was tired.

Saturday :
Early wakeup and we began the drive to Ostrava in Czech Republic. There was also third cat joining our trip, Maine Coon male Amor. Oh his silky white coat made him look so handsome!  There were not too many housecats today in the show. I was placed second of my class (HCS) and not got nominated, as the judge thought I am afraid. Me, afraid?! I could not believe my ears, as I was spending the preparation time for the show laying on my back at Mommy's arms and revealing my belly!
At BIS ring there were 2 females (short&longhair) and one male. The male was sent away first and BiS&BoS both went to females. Well, looks like anything is possible in this country.
We packed up and returned to hotel to get some sleep for next day.

Sunday :
We left towards Zilina bit late. The show was held in a shoppingmall, so there were plenty of people around. At first there was no cage assigned for me. Someone had forgotten to add Mommys name to the list and noone had prepared a spot for me. Kindly, the showmanagers gave us this huge Royal Canin octagonal cage (meant for kittenbabies) to stay. It was BIG! 92x92x48cm! Plenty of space for me to stay in.
The day moved slowly and finally it was my time to enter the ring. The judge loved me. He said I had perfect coat and I was alert and followed up on everything that was going on. Alert... not afraid! He nominated me. There were 10 housecats in total and finally there were three of us left for the BiS competition. Longhaired female, shorthair male and me. I was quite nervous as some child ran around screaming and got bit afraid. Still, I got to be the BoS and loosing to that male... I do not mind. He was corgeous! All that a housecat should be! We got our throphy and some Royal Canin food and was time to return to hotel.

Monday:
Long travel home. We stopped on the way to pick up two ragdolls (I did not like these girls, they were meowing a lot, and I think Pablo was not too happy about them either). Finally we got home and was time to take a nice long bath and share my story for other cats in home.

Our next show is in couple weeks in Lodz and then we are heading to Krakow. We are also planning some other trips around Europe for this year. Lets see. I do not mind, as long as I can stay with my Mommy!
