Guide about dangers of the catnip

Dear readers, those of you who have experiences of your cat using this dangerous drug, you know what I am talking about. Yes, today we are going to talk about dangers of the catnip.
That innocent looking green substance can cause terrifying effects from being a zombie to drooling and cat loosing his/her selfesteem completely.
Please, use catnip carefully and do not store any video/picture evidence of the addicted users for laters, as this can be quite embarassing.

First of all, lets take a look for what a catnip addict looks like

Dialated pupils, "lost" and confused look are two of the most commonly noted effects. If catnip dosage has been big, there can be also some saliva around the mouth.

A severely addicted cat looses his touch from reality, as Mr. Elb on the picture below pretending to be a flower in a flowerpot.

As all addictions, catnip addiction as well begins from small steps. It is just a tiny bit at the beginning, usually inside a toy (darn commercial world, selling catnip toys for youngsters even, getting them addicted to this stuff and then there is no way out!)

This is me, with my catnip infused sparkliemouse... You can see I was not very old when I had my first dosages of this drug.

Later on, the amounts grow bigger, and in the end we might end up having just plain catnip to use. This is where we are standing today. Rolling over this wonderful green substance, enjoying its smell and feel on our coat. Here you go, a warning example of a cat under dose.

Also we must not forget the dangers that come with the usage.
Weird behaviour. Here Agares has just discovered her own paw.

Urges to kill "unkillable" things. Poor Agares having a faceoff with couch.

Trouble coordinating body.
Seeing "things". Many many wonderful things. Here Mr. Elb has just entered "The Trip".
Bodycoordination can stay quite weak for a while after catnip dosage has been taken, and sometimes it is wise to prepare a number for a locksmith (or chiropractic) to open up your belowed cat from a tangle.
Catnip can also cause irresponsible behaviour with your other kittyfriends. Here I found Agares and Elb on a same seat... I do not really want to know what has been going on there...
And in extreme cases, catnip can also lead to the cat to believe he/she is something else... Poor Surgat The Nano is convinced she is a skunk.
And it can cause cat find his/her tail as an enemy that is stalking the poor animal...

Remember after all those pictures, if you want to use catnip, use it safely! or even better, do not even touch this stuff! It can melt your brains and cause you behave the way an intelligent cat knowing her worth would never ever behave in public!
