Story of the Little Cat

Little cat so alone
All on her own.
She has no place to go.
She lays down on the snow.

On this winter night
It ‘s so cold and nowhere to hide.

No one knows her name,
Or from where she came.
She had no home to call her own,
No warm food on her bowl.
No lap to go lay and purr,
No human patting her fur.

She is just one of too many,
Singing her own symphony.

Alone on the street at night,
She drifts to land of light.
Walking across the rainbow bridge
To dance on the green ridge.
There is no more cold or icy weather,
And she feels light as a feather.
So many others to play with,
Is this the place from a myth ?

Little Kitten alone no more,
takes her last breath and feels no more.

Frozen solid to the ground,
Giving no sound.
Snowflakes cover her tiny body,
No one to remember her story.

There are so many Little Cats out there. Please help them, so they can even once in their life feel love and warm. For so many these winter nights become their last one, and rainbow bridge welcomes too many new residents on every hour.
