2015 Statistics - Oriental Shorthair

Below you can find the cat show statistics for Oriental shorthair (year 2015).

During 2015 there were total of 196 entries for OSH in Polish catshows.

There were total of four litters presented during the year, and more males were entered than females.


The most popular color was n, followed by w and b.

25% of the entries were 03 and 75% did not have any white markings.

Ticked tabby was most popular. 69 entries did not have any tabby markings. This is 35% of all entries.
 The chart below shows the entries per show class and sex.

And the results were gained as follows. Only 5.61% of the entries were absent on the day of the show.

The cats were nominated as follows. This means that 57% of all entries received nomination for Best in Show.

And BIS results. 80% of the nominated cats gained BIS.

The table below shows the cats evaluated per judge. During 2015 Sarah Johnson evaluated the most entries, followed by Irene Eek Magnusson.
 Most of the orientals were evaluated by Polish judges.

There were slightly more cats entered for Saturday than for Sunday.

1. Blackrock via Nocturna (OSH n 03 25) - gained NW title, all breed #2
2. CorwaElucca Via Nocturna (OSH h 24) - gained NW title, all breed #7
3. Trufel Sim-Sim (OSH w 61) - all breed #22
4. Karalea Catmania (OSH b 25)
5. Wildhawk's Bena (OSH b 24)
6. Darkmoon Via Nocturna (OSH n)
7. Enzo DolceGattina (OSH n)
8. Fifi Dorycats (OSH d 03 25)
9. Dexter Dorycats (OSH n 03 25)
10. Joven DolceGattina (OSH n)

When we compare the numbers to the ones from 2016, we can see the following:

There were 43% less entries during 2016 than 2015.
There were slightly more entries for males than females (percentage) during 2016 than 2015.
The absence percentage doubled from 2015 to 2016.
