2016 Statistics - Best In Variety (BIV)

The data for this has been gathered from catshow.eu page. There might be errors in the data due human mistakes.

During the year 2016 total of 1031 Best in Varietys were awarded. This makes it 11,7% of all entries received BIV.

The chart below shows the distribution of BIVs per sex. 13,3% of  males received BIV and 11% of females. It was more likely to receive BIV with a male cat.

By amount of BIVs given, most of them went for category 2.
When looking at the numbers as percents with all entries, 13,9% of category 2 cats received BIV, 10,8% of category 3, 10,5% of category 1 and 9,7% of category 4 entries.

The following breeds received BIVs.
When adjusted to percentage of entries signed (per breed), most likely breeds to receive BIV were Neva Masquerade (NEM, 18,4%), Cornish Rex (17,8%) and Korat (15,2%).
The chart below shows the BIVs given per show class. Only total of 8 BIVs were given for neuters (1,8% of neuter entries).
When adjusted to the amount of total entries, highest likelihood to receive BIV was for a entry signed to class 1 (Supreme Champion/Supreme Premier)

24,7% of the entries that received BIV were nominated to BIS.

The below chart shows the BIVs given by the country of the judge.
It was more likely to receive BIV on Saturday (12%) than on Sunday (11,37%) when looking at the data per the total amount of entries.
According to the data, the most likely city where to get BIV was Szczecin (12,9% of entries there received BIV). Least likely was Legionowo (10,2%).

And last chart shows the BIVs per entries per organizing club.

So, in the light of the statistics...
The entry should be signed for show organized by CCP and held in the city of Szczecin.
Cat should be male and belong to category 2 and be Neva Masquerade.
Cat should be entered to class 1 and be judged by Polish judge on Saturday.
