Below you can find the statistics for breed "British Shorthair". As earlier, the data has been gathered from catshow.eu website and due human errors there might be mistakes.
During 2016 there were 1667 British shorthairs in the shows (amount of entries, not individual cats).
61% of the signed cats were female, and during 2016 total of 26 litters were presented in shows.
When comparing the signed cats per color, due the big amount of data I did include only the "base" color, removing the amounts of white, tabbies and other markers, just to show in example blue bicolor (a 03) as blue (a).
It is clearly visible that blue is dominating, followed up by lilac (c) and creme (e).
The chart below shows the entries split between classes and sex. As with other breeds, classes 9, 11 and 12 were the most popular ones and the neuter classes had the least participants.
When looking at the results gained per class, color changes were asked in classes 12 (1) and 9 (3). Class 9 had the most variety of results. No DISQ. were given during 2016 for British shorthairs.
ABS percentage was 9,9%.
411 Nominations were given, from which 126 lead to Best in Show.
The chart below shows the judges and amounts of British shorthairs evaluated by them.
When looking the entries per country of the judge, most of BSH were evaluated by Polish judges, followed by Danish, Norwegian and Russian judges.
The cats were divided almost equally (20 cat difference) between Saturday and Sunday.
When looking at the amounts of entries per month and show, spring show in Wroclaw gained the most BSH entries.
And the last chart shows the entries per organizing club.
