So as Mommy said, that we are not going to grow in numbers this summer as we got litters planned, UNLESS (there is the mighty word...) the new familymember is something she really has wished for. Those are the famous last words... but more about this a bit later.
So bit over a week ago we went to a cat show, me and Asnee, and Mommy was as a steward there for Finnish judge Kristiina Rautio. Well, the weekend was nice, I gained 1x BOS and 1x BIS and little Asnee was 2x BIS. Mommy was quite proud of both of us. We both were evaluated by Sebastian Pruchniak and Kristiina Rautio.
So, about the new family member... Some of you might have noted pics at facebook already, but for those who have not... So on Sunday morning there was a phonecall that could we drive Zigi to a new home in Warsaw. Somehow it ended up us driving to Zigi's home at cattery Dolcegattina and grabbing ZigiZigiZigi to a bag and driving home. So who is Zigi? Well, her official name is Fiorella 7th Heaven's and she is from the USA. She is white odd-eyed oriental shorthair girl, and as Mommy said, she has been dreaming about odd-eyed white oriental for a very long time. (So there comes the unless part to use...).
Now a bit over a week later, Zigi has gotten used to her new home and is getting to know us better. Huttul has decided that she does not mind what Zigi thinks, but Huttul and Zigi are gonna be best friends forever. I have caught myself laughing at this situation quite often, when Huttul goes to Zigi, lays down next to her and ignores Zigis hissing and murdering looks and just falls asleep. Huttul is quite insisting about making Zigi as her new best friend - and I think she will soon have her way.
Better pics of Zigi will be coming soon :)
Now we are waiting to see if Zigi is pregnant to handsome Enzo Dolcegattina*PL and I think in couple weeks we will know for sure. The litter will be born under Dolcegattina catteryname, but will be raised in our home.
So that is the story of our new familymember. Big thanks go to Dolcegattina-cattery for trusting Zigi to our care. She is a very charming little girl and we have great expectations for her in the future breeding program.
Currently there is no kittens in the cattery as last one moved to Finland (Anurak Via Nocturna*PL) last weekend, but we are expecting three litters this summer - one variant litter and two shorthair litters, siamese and Seychelles shorthairs are a possibility also in all the three combinations. As Mommy said we are not currently yet taking any reservations, but if you are interested of a kitten you are free to contact us about the upcoming plans.
