Catnip... that stuff has gotten so many innocent cats trapped, permanately. They can only just hope, when they will get their next dosage of that green herb.

Empty look, feeling like you are seeing the bottom of the skull when looking at the eyes of your cat is one of the symptoms of severe catnip addiction.

Poor innocent toys end up being disemboweled while the addicted cat is seeking for the daily dosage of catnip.

Often cats gather together to enjoy this drug

Effects can be anything from gliding on the floor and leaving a trail of drool behind (reminds me about a snail that crawls it way leaving slimetrail)...

Catnip can also cause violence...

And some cats step even more on the wrong side of the law, and begin growing the nip on their own, just to sell it to the innocent kittens that are not trapped yet to this drug!
 

In worst case scenario, the poor cat ends up selling its all posessions, from the rubber mouse to the dinner and ends to the trashes just to hope to get its next dose...
