There were 103 veteran entries, this makes it 1.13% of all entries.
First chart shows the amounts of entries per breed.
To put things bit more to perspective, below chart shows the amount of veteran entries in percentages per breed. All snowshoe entries for 2017 were for veteran class.
The chart below shows the amount of veteran entries per category. Most (1.59% of all entries for category) were for category 2 and least for category 1.
Most of the entries were of color n 22.
41.74% of all veteran entries were black (n).
65% did not have any amount of white.
and 46% did not have any tabby markings.
16% of the veterans (overall) were absent on the show day.
Below are the breed specific absence percentages per breed for class 17.
The below table shows the percentage of veteran entries being nominated,
and how many percentages of veteran entries were nominated per category.
71.42% of category 1 veteran entries gained BIS. There was more competition in category 4 where only 60% of entries gained BIS.

Mrs. Helene Reiter and Mr. Robert Nowak had most veterans assigned to them during 2017, each having 6.79%.
24.27% of all veteran entries were assigned to Polish judges.
