For the past week Banshee wasn't too good with eating. He has always been bit picky, but now it just became worse. He managed to eat some and was frequently visiting the milkbar, playing with others etc. So we did not see it coming...
Yesterday due his lack of eating he was given diazepam to increase his appetite. He was all over the food and wanted more and more, but was bit apathetic. At evening he was peacefully sleeping.
At this morning I got up and went to the babies, just to find him laying next to the door in puddle of pee and watery vomit, completely ice cold and stiff. My first thoughts were that he was dead. I lifted him up having tears in my eyes, and noted he was still breathing - barely. Fast rubbing him dry and putting him inside blankets and a hot water bottle there and just looking at his little body being labored by breathing and irregular heartbeats and barely reacting to even pain.
Couple hours later he was finally properly dry and warming up. His breathing got easier and heartbeat more regular. Finally he was enough stable to move to the vet. At car he had gotten up few times, with his little tail up and meowing, and then returning inside the blankets to rest more.
At the vet there was found a blockage in his bowel found, like a little pearl. He is too young and too weak to be operated, so now he is receiving IV fluids and nutriments and medications while resting under the heat lamp at the clinic. He still has fight left in him, but we could use all the prayers now so he can push through this...
