Spring is coming !

It is time for the world to wake from its slumber after long winter and new life is starting to grow. This also starts a very busy season for animal shelters.

There are many ways how you can help your local shelter and participate to their work. I've listed few of those things under "our mission" to give you an idea how even small things can be making a big difference.

Main thing tho is, to avoid animals ending in shelters... Tell your friends, family and relatives about summercats. Encourage them to take their cat for sterilization on early age to prevent it having any unwanted kittens. By education we can achieve a lot and maybe this year there will be less kittens walking the rainbowbridge.

Personally I think the children are the best ones to teach adults about these things. I know every little kid wants a kitten or a puppy at somepoint of their life, and telling these kids about things like why it is important for a cat to stay with its mommycat at least until age of 12 weeks, and why it is not good if the cat is not sterilized etc... Kids are not stupid, and if they learn to see how things are when told truthfully, they can affect their parents, their friends etc etc. I really would love to see adults teaching kids at schools about these things, since these kids are our future, and these kids can make a big difference!

Help us educate people about the every year summercat problem, and together we can make a big difference and prevent more sad stories from being born. Alone we are weak, but together... we can make the change happen!
