Since Friday your life was hanging by the thread due diarrhea. But you still kept fighting, still kept trying. On Saturday we thought we already lost you, but from somewhere you got a spark to keep going and on Sunday finally you began gaining weight and becoming better. There was finally real hope.

This morning, you gave up. When I went to check on you at 2am, I already knew that we are closing to the end. The spark from your eyes was almost gone.
But you still had some fight in you, you were walking and fought against bottle with all your little strength. Until finally your body just gave up and the light faded from your eyes.

The most beautiful always goes first, but it was not your time to go. But I hope you are now safe and without any pain over the rainbow bridge. Only the pain remains here, in my heart.

Today J-litter is 2 weeks old

Our little songs turned two weeks old today.
They are growing very well and enjoying the familylife with their mother and father. Their daddy is taking good care of the kittens by washing them and keeping them warm (his dad was exactly the same!).

So, in the litter we have six wonderful kittens, 4 girls and 2 boys. Few of the kittens are available and we are slowly starting to interview the possible homes.

The sire of the litter is our NW15 SC Blackrock Via Nocturna, JW (osh n 03 25) and dam is Darkmoon Via Nocturna, JW (osh n).

Story behind J-litter...

This litter is very important for us, it was a designed litter to combine two wonderful cats and do a selective linebreeding to our queen Lady (CH LadywithRed Van Crystaltina). Due the inbreeding % (12,5%) , these kittens are not available for breeding. One or two of the females will stay as part of our breeding plans and will be bred with full outcross in next generation.

The kittens were born (well, four of them) 25th of October, and last two came as "late delivery" exactly 24h later. The birth went well and all six kittens have been growing fast since.

The sire is our NW15 SC Blackrock Via Nocturna, JW (OSH n 03 25) and dam is lovely Darkmoon Via Nocturna, JW (OSH n).

The babies were named after songs and we have in the nest the following kittens:

Jewels n' Drugs - osh n 03
Just Push Play - osh n
Justify my love - osh n 24

This has been a miraculous litter various ways. One of the things noted from the birth was the extremely short coat (and yes, the dad is variant and carries the longhair gene!). The kittens also have very promising profiles already at the very young age.
I just cannot wait to see how they will develop, and I hope that most of them will find homes as show alters.

J-litter has names

One week of careful thinking, and our J-litter received their names.
Proudly presenting our "song titles" litter.

Litter was born on  25th of October, 2016. Last two kittens (Jailhouse Rock and Jailbreak) arrived to world 24h later as a "late delivery".
Sire is our own wonderful NW15 SC Blackrock Via Nocturna, JW (OSH n 03 25) and mother is our black beauty Darkmoon Via Nocturna, JW (OSH n).

These kittens are not available for breeding. Couple kittens will be available later as pets/show neuters.
